3. Draw a cup

Use the sprite editor in Scratch to design a cup! This cup will hide our mystery sprite.

Steps

1. Make a new sprite

Find the blue cat face on the bottom right hand part of the screen, and carefully put your mouse over it. When a menu pops up, move your mouse up to the paintbrush tool. 

2. Choose cup color

In the sprite editor, click on the purple square. Now you have a whole rainbow of colors to choose from! Choose a new color for your sprite. 

3. Draw the cup

In the sprite editor, draw your cup! A really easy way to draw a cup would be to use the rectangle tool, but you can also use the paint brush tool.

4. Make sure the cup is centered

It's very important this cup is in the middle of the drawing screen. Can you use the cursor tool to click on the cup, and make sure it's sitting right on top of the little grey crosshair?
